TRIP INTRODUCTION

Lake Chala is a crater lake in a caldera located on the border of Tanzania and Kenya on the eastern end of Kilimanjaro. This place is a real find for tourists who like panoramic views and quiet recreation.

In the morning, after the transfer to the lake, you will find yourself on the edge of the crater to see the wonderful views of the tropical forest and the lake. On the way to the lake, you are highly likely to see baboons. At the lake you can go canoeing, relishing the beautiful African nature. Your lunch will be served afterwards. On the way back to the hotel you will see Mt Kilimanjaro in all its glory.

Our driver guide will pick up you from the hotel in Moshi town and drive to Kibosho village which is 45min drive, starting by hike in a rural village with beautiful sceneries of old growth tree, coffee and banana plantation and  will see as close as the Kibo peak of Kilimanjaro view, Through walking you will be filled with the history of the oldest Catholic church in Tanzania (with 120 years) and get opportunity to see it and touch the strong wall built with stones, Meet locals and learn about their life in hood, background history and their culture also if you like to taste a flavor of a local Banana beer you can taste or drink it all.

After spending time at Kibosho and have amazing experience our guide will drive you back to your hotel in Moshi.
